Ellie

Ellie is an impish elfin spirit, one of those little dogs who definitely makes up for her size with personality and courage. Ellie is definitely a speed leader, pure glee in front of the team with a relentlessly positive attitude. She rose to lead races in 2016 in the Mahoosuc 100, and has since led the start line of the UP200, and the Wilderness race. In training last year, Ellie showed that she knows her commands AND wants to use them, and I know she will bring that skill to the line this year. Visitors to the dogyard find it hard to leave without a paw print from Ellie, usually delivered as a firm smack on the back.
